Diyaluma Falls
At the peak of Diyaluma Falls in Sri Lanka, you will find a serene natural infinity pool overlooking a 772-foot (220-metre) waterfall. Located near the town of Koslanda in the Badulla District, the waterfall is the second-largest in Sri Lanka, making it a must-see attraction for explorers visiting the heart of the Indian Ocean.
Dunhinda Falls

District : Badulla
Dunhinda is considered to be one of the most enchanting falls in Sri Lanka and is in close proximity to Badulla town. The water resembles a thin cloud as it cascades 63m downwards into a large pool. The backdrop to the fall is known as ‘Dunhinda Adaviya’. ‘Dunhinda’ translates to ‘spraying/vapour waterfall’ – the word ‘dun’ means ‘gave/was given’, while ‘hinda’ means ‘evaporate’.
Ravana Ella Falls
Ravana Falls is another must visit in Ella. Hill country of Sri Lanka is quite popular for beautiful waterfalls and Ravana Falls is right at the top.
The falls are quite impressive, and you can climb over some of the rocks to get a closer look.
Aberdeen Falls
Height : 98 meters
The impressive 98m fall makes up a section of the Kehelgamuwa River and joins the Maskeli River at Kalugala before flowing into the ocean via the Kelani River. Unfortunately, the Norton Bridge dam constructed under the Lakshapana Project has decreased the volume of water in the fall, but it continues to cascade except in severe drought conditions. According to folklore, there is a tunnel leading from Aberdeen Falls to the neighbouring Lakshapana Falls – the supposed opening of which can be seen near the Puna River.

Bomburu Ella Falls
Bomburuella Waterfall is situated in Perawella near the border of the Nuwara Eliya and Badulla districts. It is 50 meters high and is also known as “Perawalla Falls”. It is the widest waterfall in Sri Lanka and consists of many small waterfalls grouped together.
